One to three inches of accumulation is possible in the tri-county area Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Slick roads could also be a problem for the morning commute.
The forecast shows the greatest winter weather impact in western Clinton County, with 3 inches of accumulation projected. Eaton and Ingham counties primarily fall in the 1 inch range with some areas possibly getting 2 inches of snow.
The silver lining is that temperatures warm up throughout the day Thursday, topping out just shy of 50, and by Friday we're looking at a high temp in the mid-50s. But... rain.
