The competitive robotics season begins January 5th 2019 with a "game reveal" at Kettering University. Students from all over the state will attend for their very first opportunity to learn what functions their robot will have to be able to perform in the competitive season, and the first opportunity to brainstorm how to design and build it in the allotted six weeks before competitions officially begin.
We spent an evening talking with Corunna Robotics Lead Mentor, Scott Stap, for our brand new episode of the Shiawassee Radio podcast
. We started with the basics -- what is "robotics," then moved on to Team FridgeBot and eventually the county's many teams and Shiawassee County and Michigan's growing place in competitive robotics.
