Frederick, Republican, was challenged by Democrat Andrea Kelly Garrison. ElectionReporting.com, powered by Election Source, indicates a clear victory for Frederick, however, at just under 65% of the overall vote.

Frederick (R)...64.12%
Garrison (D)...35.53%

134 write-ins accounted for .35% of the vote, according to the site.

In 2016, Frederick ran against then-Shiawassee Township Supervisor, Anthony Karhoff (D), defeating Karhoff with more than 56% of the vote. Frederick was re-elected in 2018 with more than 61% of the vote.

"Thank you all for your ongoing confidence - truly humbled and blessed at the opportunity of further service. A little rest and then back to work," Frederick wrote on Facebook.

On Tuesday, Karhoff lost his bid against Gerald Novak, to step back into his former role as Shiawassee Township Supervisor.
